Cranes in the backyard
For the past 3 years, we have had a pair of cranes take up residence in the marsh just beyond the park in back of our house. Two years ago, we watched them raise two chicks over the course of the summer and then fly South in the Fall. They just appeared for the first time today suggesting Spring may be here afterall.
